The Frederick County Democratic Committee has undergone a leadership change that you should be aware of. Bill Dodson, who has served as Chair of the Frederick County Democratic Party of Virginia since January, resigned earlier this week in order to focus on the increasing demands of his personal life. Branson Miller, 1^st Vice Chair, will step-up to serve as Chair.

            After hearing of the resignation Branson Miller, who now becomes Chair, wrote, "I understand how life's obligations can become more demanding, and I wish Bill success in his endeavors. I am grateful for Bill’s leadership of the Committee over the past several years. It is time to start working on the more challenging issues affecting our County. The Committee will begin focusing on how to bring revenue and resources in, to make sure our teachers, sheriffs and firefighters are being paid appropriately. ”

            The Committee will hold it's next bi-monthly meeting on June 21, at the Frederick County Public Safety Building, 1080 Coverstone Drive, Winchester, VA 22602 at 7:30 pm.
